Where My Love of Embroidery Began
I’ve lived in the South all my life, and around here, we have a saying: if it’s not moving, monogram it! From my own things to my daughters’ and nieces’ belongings, a name or a set of initials has always been part of making something our own. The girls have had monogrammed treasures since they were tiny—it’s a family tradition close to my heart.
These are my two daughters and my niece when they were little, wearing their embroidered aprons. To me, this photo captures what I love most about embroidery: the way a few colorful stitches can turn an everyday item into a keepsake filled with personality, love, and memories. It’s that same feeling I hope to stitch into every gift I create for you.
